Consignments and Donations
Thank you for partnering with Teach the Children! Our consignment program helps homeschool families access affordable, quality resources while supporting our mission.
We understand the value of quality educational resources and are committed to creating an easy, welcoming way for homeschoolers to share and reuse them. Gather up those unused textbooks, workbooks, and literature—we’ll thank you with an in-store gift card.
To help set expectations, please note that pricing is based on general guidelines:

Curriculum: Approximately 20% of retail value

Used literature: Typically $0.25–$0.50 per book
All values are determined at our discretion based on condition, demand, and current inventory.
By consigning items with us, you agree to the following:
dRop-off only:
All consignment items must be dropped off in person at Teach the Children during designated drop-off times. We are unable to accept shipped items.
Once items are accepted, they become the property of Teach the Children.
pricing & sale of items:
Teach the Children will take care of pricing, displaying, and selling your items. We may discount, bundle, or remove items from sale as needed. Unsold items will not be returned and may be donated at our discretion.
Store Credit:
Earn Store Credit
When your items sell, you will receive 20% of the final sale price in store credit.

Store credit is the only form of compensation

No cash payments are available

Store credit cannot be exchanged for cash
Using Your Store Credit
Store credit may be used toward eligible items in the Teach the Children Resource Center.
Please note:

Store credit is non-transferable

Store credit may not be used on new items (if applicable)
Extra Notes:
Item Guidelines
We ask that all items be clean, complete, and in good, usable condition. Teach the Children reserves the right to decline items that do not meet our standards or align with our mission.
A Quick Note on Responsibility
While we take great care with all consigned items, Teach the Children is not responsible for loss or damage once items are accepted.
Agreement
By consigning items with Teach the Children, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this agreement.
